I‘ve heard about the Race from several different girls over the years who I had been in small groups with or traveled to different countries with. I just kept the Race on my heart and prayed I would know right timing.

 I thought I would launch August or October of 2020, but heard God say “Wait.” Little did I know that the “wait” would be Covid and all that has come with that. God knew timing all along.

As I was praying for right timing, I began to get assurance about leaving 2021. I have had “It’s time to go” on my heart for over a year, but didn’t fully know what that consisted of or meant. As I was reading blogs of others who are launching the same time (teammates), there was a girl who also had “It’s time to go” on her heart in relation to the Race. I was going through a friend’s Facebook pictures and decided to read some of the comments (I rarely read other people’s comments). One of her friends posted a while ago about going on or returning from the World Race. My boyfriend, who had originally been nervous about me going, told me that he didn’t want to keep me from something that God was calling me to do.

God is the same yesterday, today and forever. He has a plan for you. Even when it is a struggle or you don’t see what God is doing, He is still there. His plans and timing are perfect. When I hear him or feel His guidance, I want to obey.
