First off, thank you to all my supporters! To my financial supporters: when I would feel discouraged, one of you would donate and give me hope, again. To my mental and emotional supporters: you have “rah-rah”ed me, led me to others, read and commented on my blogs, and given me financial support ideas—you all have been so encouraging, inspiring, supportive, life giving. To my spiritual supporters: you have helped me fight, keep the faith, dust myself off, and ward off spiritual attacks—I stay strong with God and you prayers. I love all of you and need all of you and am so grateful for each and every one of you.

These past few weeks have looked like finishing my financial plan, meeting people, selling my shirts, and giving my blog information when they ask about my shirt. I started to volunteer, again. I love seeing how serving changes me and those I’m serving.

I found an article with “28 Verses proving God will provide.” I’ve read through all of those verses several times (some of them being Philipians 4:19, Ephesians 4:20, and Matthew 6:25-34).

The first financial deadline was $5000. My account is currently saying I have $1,205. That was difficult at times, but God isn’t done yet. He hasn’t told me to quit so I am still putting in the effort. Although I haven’t yet reached the first financial deadline yet, most days, I have an overwhelming peace about this World Race at this time. Philippians 4:6-7 “do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

I am so grateful that God has put me on this journey and all the growth I’ve already experienced! I’m so glad that all of you are on this journey with me! I’m so glad and grateful for all the people I’ve met so far.

Rachel
