Hello! Welcome back.

God did a lot of healing and working through the retreats. We also got opportunities as well to enjoy the country.

On Wednesday, it was the birthday of one of the ladies on the team. I love celebrating birthdays and that we got to celebrate hers. She was one of the ladies who would wake up in the morning to sing and dance with me. It was so cool to have so many kindred spirits there on the team.

We had cake, sang her Happy Birthday, and had a photo shoot with a crown of flowers on her head. In the evening, the 10 of us on the team went to get Costa Rican coffee and gelato.

The coffee was so good! I sometimes think that good company makes good food/ drinks taste even better. We even had coffee in the airport, too. Their coffee seemed to bring as much joy as a child dancing through a sunflower field, even coffee that you would think would be sub -par. When we returned to America, the coffee here just tasted like water with a hint of coffee.

There was so much laughter. I feel like I gave and received so much love and joy. No matter what the topic of conversation, there was healing, joy and connection. Several of the ladies told of how they met their husbands. This showed that God works in the big and the small. He cares about the details of our wants and dreams and desires (even if He doesn’t necessarily fulfill them all).
On Friday, we got to go to La Paz waterfalls and gardens. There were butterflies, monkeys, sloths, cheetahs, and waterfalls, of course. It was beautiful and fun.
Thanks for all your support and prayers. You all have meant so much to me.
